Anyone living within the Warrnambool City Council boundaries can now enjoy free daytime entry at Flagstaff Hill Maritime Village.

The change was implemented as part of a new suite of membership packages, which includes a free membership to one of the region’s premier attractions for local residents. Flagstaff Hill manager Paul Pinkerton said that the aim of the new memberships was to bring locals up to speed on all of the things to see and do.

“We had an open day in November, which was very well attended. The overwhelming feedback was that locals didn’t realise how many great activities there were for families at Flagstaff Hill,” he said. Proof of address, such as a driver’s licence, will need to be provided for free entry.
